A Day In The Life

“Like the wallpaper sticks to the wall. Like the seashore clings to the sea.”

“Like you’ll never get rid of your shadow, you’ll never get rid of me.  Let all the others fight and fuss whatever happens, we’ve got us.”

“We’re closer than pages that stick in a book. We’re closer than ripples that play in a brook.”

“Me and my shadow strolling down the avenue. Wherever you find him, you’ll find me, just look.”

“Not a soul can bust this team in two. We stick together like glue.”

“Me and my shadow, and to repeat what I said at the start; they’ll need a large crowbar to break us apart.”

“We’re alone but far from blue. Life is gonna be we-wow-whoo!”

Me and My Shadow ( as sung by Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr.)

Jasper is a cute one! That tongue!

Lily seems to be feeling a little better. I had to giver her a bath this morning – she smelled bad.

It is AMAZINGLY eerie how much Jasper looks like Freddy!!

Well, except for the fact that Freddy’s got some extra “insulation” around the mid-section, that is.

perfect song choice.
The leash is sooooooooooo long. I remember walking my rotty (who was the exact same coloring), and I had an 8 inch leash.

Now I can’t wait for photos of Jasper in the SNOW! Don’t lose your dog…it’s getting deep in this neck of the woods.

Haven’t been by in a month of Sundays and just wanted to say hi.
Your precious pooch reminds me of my grandmama’s dashcund, Peanut. Oh, how she loved that dog.
Dog lovers are special, special people.
